Get ready for the 9th edition of the most leading Frank Zappa event in the Netherlands.

This year the only music festival from the south of The Netherlands that celebrates the music and life of Frank Zappa settles down in Heerlen. Nieuwe Nor will be hosting the main event this year on november 29 and Mosae Zappa proudly present:

Orange Claw Hammer (SCO) take on the music of Captain Beefheart & the Magic Band and bend it into shape for the 21st century.

Heath is a psychedelic rock band from The Hague and combines unusual time signatures, powerful harmonica and solid guitars with narrative vocals.

Uncle Meat offers a wide choice of Zappa’s work: from symphonic pieces to satirical pop, interactive elements and experimental compositions.

Jeff Holly (US) the tenor saxophonist on Frank Zappa’s ‘Joe’s Garage’ album, will play with his trio (ft. Armin Beck and Fred Händl) in the afternoon at Betahuis Heerlen before the main event.

And off course The Disco Boyz will be spinning your favourite Zappa music during the festival.
