Mini festival in Landgraaf, vol met electronic dark wave. Al sinds de jaren tachtig timmert clan of xymox, de band rond Ronny Moorings, aan een lange elektronisch geplaveide dark wave weg. De fanbase bevindt zich vooral in Amerika en Zuid-Amerika, maar ook in Europa mocht de band al op de betere spots staan op festivals als M’era Luna Fesival, Summer Darkness, Whitby Gothic Weekend en Wave-Gotik-Treffen.

Clan of Xymox

Clan of Xymox has come a long way since the 80’s, bringing electronic dark wave all over the world. Throughout their existence they have produced strong, romantic compositions of synth, guitar and emotional pain. After releasing a new album in early 2017 and touring great parts of Europa and America, they now settle down in the very south of the Netherlands to fill your evening with darkness.

Siva Six

Siva Six is an Athens based dark electro-industrial act with Z on vocals and U-RI on keyboards. A heavy touring schedule has seen them perform alongside a who’s who of the dark alternative, Industrial, EBM and metal scenes, including: Type O Negative, Front 242, Soman, Grendel, Theatre Of Tragedy, Apoptygma Berzerk, Pansonik, Die Krupps, Hocico, SITD and many more.

The Essence

The Essence are: Hans – vocals and guitar, Mark – keyboards and bass guitar and George – drums, an alternative, gothic rock/popband from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Their unique sound varies from sheer power to dreamy ballads, ever changing, evolving, sometimes reminiscent of vintage Cure or a postmodern Pink Floyd. After five albums and a ‘best of’ album, musically the band matured way beyond their original aspirations. As a live band, The Essence built a strong reputation with their powerful, passionate and capturing concert performances.

Mission statement:
New wave music for emotional engagement, intellectual stimulation, energetic dancing and nostalgic enjoyment!
PALAIS IDEAL’s high-energy songs are constructed from fragments of post-punk and new wave. They use vintage synths, guitars and equipment to create an authentic early 80s sound, inspired by works by The Cure, New Order, The Sound and the Sisters of Mercy.
PALAIS IDEAL – Richard van Kruysdijk (bass, baritone guitar, backing vocals, synths, programming) and John Edwards (vocals, guitars, synths, programming) – appeared out of nowhere in December 2016 with the video to their first ever track “Crossfade / Dissolve”. This was soon followed by a four track limited edition 10” white vinyl EP on Dark Vinyl Records: “The Future Has Been Cancelled”. They gained immediate attention from worldwide radio shows .
